1. Give images a relevant name

Therefore, adjust your files to the maximum your website can handle (about 4 MB each). Each software and template has its own standards like Amazon, Google, Bol.com and eBay have. For product images it is useful to use a fixed format of, for example, 1000x1000px and banners of, for example, 1200x600px. This ensures that the images are clear enough and consistent in size for a great appearance without decreasing the quality of your photo. Finally, and also very important for the visual experience of your customer: pick a format that fits the page. So make sure to test this until you find the right one.
4. Use a subscription
You can do this by using captions. Photos with a caption perform better in search engines, but this mainly ensures that the reader knows what the photo is about. Include relevant words in the caption images as you did in the file name and alt-text. A caption also grabs the reader's attention and confirms that the correct information has been searched for.
